Les Thomas, President
Retired (formerly interstate Primary School Principal) I am married with three adult children and 4 grandchildren.  We have lived in Bellvista since 2002. Major interests are computer (I am a member of the Sunshine Coast Computer Club), sport, keen bike rider and home brewer. I have been involved in many community and sporting organisations throughout my working career as both a Chairperson and a Committee Member.
Deb O’Reilly, Secretary
We moved to Caloundra in 1994 and built in Bellvista in 2002. We love the local parks & facilities; the people here are very friendly and committed to their community. I have a passion for volunteer community work and have been the Secretary of BeCA since 2011 and currently hold the roles of Membership Chairperson & Administration Officer for the Lions Club of Caloundra West. We love living in our ever-growing community.
Nathan Hill, Secretary

My wife and I moved to Bell’s Reach at the start of 2015 with our two young daughters. We were previously living in the Sunshine Coast hinterland for six years. We love the laid-back lifestyle of the Bellvista/Bell’s Reach area and all of its facilities. We feel that the area has a great family feel to it as well. I really look forward to being part of the community.
Bob Smith

I moved with my wife Sue to Bellvista in May of 2007 from Caboolture where we had lived on acreage for five years. Both Sue and I have fond memories of Caloundra from our years as children when our families would come up from Brisbane to spend many enjoyable days at Happy Valley and Kings Beach. When the time came to retire at the seaside, it was not a difficult choice for us to move to the Bellvista Estate with the lake and all the pathways around the estate to either walk or ride our bicycles. We have three grown up children and two grandchildren. I look forward to working with all the members of the Committee to ensure that Bellvista continues to grow into a happy and safe place for everybody to live for many years to come.
Kevin Baty
I grew up and spent much of my working life as a structural, post-tensioning & architectural draftsman in Sydney. Married and had family before we relocated to Brisbane 1982. Eventually I retired to Caloundra West in 2008. My interests are Caloundra, Family History research, home brewing and occasionally golf and fishing.
Liz Ellis

Bells Reach became home for my poodles and myself in 2017. A lifestyle choice which has been amazing. I have loved developing my garden, creating my piece of green space. I am a passionate Relief Teacher and still enjoying working and having ongoing involvement with Education. I have three adult children and six grandchildren. I am really keen to learn more about the local area and to help in promoting the Bellvista and Bells Reach Communities.
Lani Ogilvie
My husband and I moved to Bellvista from Brisbane in 2011, followed by my sister and her family due to our recommendations. We are regular walkers and avid park users, with our little boy and cocker spaniel in tow. My main interests include real estate, walking, reading, fishing, rugby league (Broncos of course), and playing music. I am looking forward to helping BeCA to keep our lovely estate happy and safe for all.
Barrie Baker,
I retired in 2013 and moved into Bellvista with my wife Gail. We have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren most of whom live on the coast which has been our home for 29 years. Most of my working life was spent as an Electrical Contractor, with the last 7 years as the Facilities Manager for the Caloundra RSL. As a member of the Wooden Boat Association I enjoy sailing and attending camp cruisers at numerous locations. Other interests include cycling, swimming, walking, yoga, gardening and delivering meals on wheels.

My wife and I moved from Melbourne to Caloundra two and a half years ago and are residing at Caloundra West. We have two sons who live with their families in Brisbane so we spend quite a bit of time commuting back and forth. Apart from my involvement with BECA , I am a member at Buderim Mens Shed and I volunteer at STEPS nursery.  I am a very avid bike rider, I swim regularly and my wife and I are regular walkers around the local area.
Debbi Pidgeon

I grew up in numerous places around Queensland (& briefly WA), then lived in Ipswich and Brisbane from early teens.  I married, had two boys and lived in Ipswich since 1986 and was a secondary teacher in Ipswich for 30 years.  In December 2020 my husband and I moved to Caloundra, always having had the dream that we would one day live near the beach – life dreams do come true!  I am now retired, and my husband works at Alexandra Headland.  My interests include CrossFit, walking, reading, sewing & handcrafts, watching Formula 1 & soccer, and socialising with family and friends.

After I retired from the property valuation business and closed my company in Mackay, my wife and I visited Caloundra for a family funeral and looked around. We were sold!! We moved down this way in early 2018. Arbour suited us down to the ground and we have settled in nicely. My wife is still working, and I am enjoying lawn bowls. BeCA was the perfect entry to community involvement for us and what a great bunch of people.
