Membership
The membership of the association consists of the following classes of members -
1. Ordinary Members: Any household and/or owner of property in Bellvista or Bells Reach. Full voting rights. No fees payable.
2. Business Members: Businesses located within the precinct Bellvista or Bells Reach. Full voting rights. No fees payable.
3. Associate Members: Individuals, businesses or other associations who are neither residents nor owners of Bellvista or Bells Reach who
have an interest in the objects of the association. Non voting membership. No fees payable.
4. Honorary Members: Can be granted by a vote of the members at a General Meeting. Limited to one year.
Non-voting membership. No fees payable
5. Life Membership Can be granted by a vote of the members at an Annual General Meeting. Awarded for outstanding contribution to
the Association’s objectives. Full voting rights. No fees payable
As per Rule 9 (2) of the Constitution the management committee must ensure that, as soon as possible after the person applies to
become a member of the association, and before the management committee considers the persons
application, the person is advised -
(a) whether or not the association has public liability insurance; and
(b) if the association has public liability insurance - the amount of the insurance.
