Final BeCA Public Meeting and AGM for 2021

The final BeCA Public meeting for 2021 is scheduled for Monday November 1st, 6:45pm at Bellvista Meeting Place. Everyone is invited to attend. Covid19 protocols will be be followed in line with Government Guidelines.
The final BeCA Public meeting for 2021 is scheduled for Monday November 1st, 6:45pm at Bellvista Meeting Place. Everyone is invited to attend. Covid19 protocols will be be followed in line with Government Guidelines.
As the Management Committee for 2022 has some vacancies still to fill, nominations for those vacancies can be accepted from the floor of the AGM. Vacancies have arisen as former Management Committee members move out of the area. Here is your chance to get involved.
There will be reports from Queensland Police and our local Councilor. These reports are always informative and the perfect opportunity for you to keep up with the latest news. You may wish to ask questions as well and these will be received from the floor.
Former State Government MP Mark McArdle will also be present to accept his BeCA Life Membership and Mark is always able to follow up with a few words.
Again Covid19 has intervened and has prevented our main speaker, Federal MP Andrew Wallace, from attending and speaking at this Public meeting. His services are required in Canberra and Covid19 restrictions mean he is unable to attend our meeting.
We have arranged for our current State Government MP Jason Hunt to speak at this meeting. He does have a commitment with the State’s Governor General on Monday November 1st but is confident he can make it to our final Meeting for 2021.
Here is an opportunity for you to ask questions of Jason over concerns you may have with aspects of living here on the Sunshine Coast.
There will also be an opportunity to ask any further questions during General Business.
Covid19 protocols prevent us from inviting you to enjoy any sort of drink and sustenance after the meeting. With the opening of Queensland up to the rest of the country in mid-December 2021 hopefully this will be the last time Covid19 restrictions will be in place.
So it is Bellvista Meeting Place, 6:45pm on Monday November 1st for our final Public Meeting for 2021. All are welcome.
