The BeCA Management Committee wishes to extend the very best wishes for 2016 to all residents of Bellvista and Bells Reach.
It is the time of the year when some are heading back to work after a Christmas break while others are in the throes of finishing off their Christmas New Year break.
We begin 2016 with some good news, the promised pathway connection between Crater St in Bellvista and Ghostgum Close in Little Mountain is now complete. The new pathway will provide excellent foot access between the two estates but should especially be welcomed by Little Mountain students who attend Unity College.
It is now a short walk for some Little Mountain residents to access Bellvista Market Place and the Bellvista Tavern as well.
For morning walkers, joggers and bike riders, another all weather circuit has been added to the available courses or exercise.
Funding for the pathway came from Councillor Rick Baberowski’s ‘Discretionary Funds’ and followed up on a request from BeCA.
BeCA is also keen to see an all weather pathway be constructed between Crater St in Bellvista and the newly completed Bells Reach pathway built by Stockland. Stockland have built a pathway until they reach the Council owned land. It is now up to Council to complete the pathway. This will be one of several priorities BeCA has planned for 2016.
