Our recent contact and support from Pratt Property group may have had an immediate impact. The road line markings outside Bellvista Market Place have been painted thus making it easier for traffic to enter and leave the precinct.
It is still a sticky situation and residents are asked to use extreme care around the Shopping Centre.

A BeCA representative spoke with workers who were involved with the new crossing point on Bellvista Blvd mayhem from yesterday. The traffic control guys were on deck at 5:30 am and the plan was to get the concrete laid before the ‘peak time’. However the concrete delivery was delayed which meant the job was finished much later than had been planned.
You can plan all these things but when the concrete is delivered, then you have no choice but to pour it.
It is of little compensation to residents who were caught up in the mayhem and provides further evidence that we desperately need a second access road into the estate. Take a moment and download one of the maps from http://www.bellvista.com.au/news-events/bellvista2-maps and check where these residents will be entering Bellvista Blvd. Will this create yet another bottleneck on our estate? Also consider the route you would have to take to get to Bellvista Market Place if you were a Stage 6 homeowner!
Perhaps there needs to be another connector road from Bellvista2 Stage 6 to Grampion drive?
