Representatives of BeCA recently met with Stockland at the Bells Reach Land Sales Office. It was an extremely interesting meeting designed to bring BeCA up to date on a number of issues.
Many of these issues will be discussed with Stockland representatives who will attend and make a presentation at the upcoming BeCA Public Meeting on June 2nd at the Old Land sales Office building.
Traffic issues will be a major point as Stockland expand on their plans to deal with the added traffic arising from new developments at Bells Reach.
There will also be an update on the huge Caloundra South development and effects this will have on Bellvista and Bells Reach residents.
The photo left was taken at the new Land Sales Office and illustrates the extent of the Caloundra South development. The bottom left is where Bellvista and Bells Reach sit in regard to this massive project.
There will be some exciting news for all of us at the June 2nd Public Meeting.
You can see this map for yourself at the Bells Reach Land Sales Office and is well worth the visit.

Also at the meeting will be representatives from SCRC who will provide a presentation on “Sunshine Coast Council Waste Management and Recycle”. This was a wonderful, entertaining and informative session in 2013.
Councillor Baberowski will provide an update on issues effecting our area as well.
A Wine & Cheese tasting will be held at the conclusion of the meeting for those wishing to stay back and have a further chat with BeCA or our speakers.
Everybody is welcome to attend this meeting which will be the final meeting prior to the old Land Sales Office refurbishment. It is expected the refurbishment will be completed prior to the September Public Meeting on Monday September 1st.
