Established in the 80’s here on the Coast the U3A organisation has a huge presence, especially in the Caloundra Area. They use a variety of facilities across the Sunshine Coast and provide a wide range of activities for their 2,200 active members.
They have a huge range of get out and have fun activities for retireds including art classes, yoga, tai chi, cycling activities, tutorials, International Dining and heaps more.
They are all volunteers both tutors and administrators who have become involved just for the fun of it.
Their motto is “Affordable adult learning and leisure opportunities for people in active retirement”.

For the U3A Sunshine Coast, Caloundra is their fastest growing area and the Bellvista Meeting Place hosts one of their lectures regularly on a Wednesday afternoon between 1:30pm and 3:30pm.
