Residents can expect to see a Newsletter from Stockland in their letterbox in the next few days outlining arrangements for a Caloundra Rd intersection upgrade involving roadworks at the the top of Bellvista Blvd.
Work is expected to begin shortly on the final stages of the Bells Reach Estate. A further 330 or so blocks are to built predominately in the area between the current Bells Reach estate and the north/south airport runway. In line with the new Bells reach development, Stockland must carry out further roadworks on Bellvista Blvd. Mainly this is to extend the ‘left turn’ lane further down the road.
The Haul Rd will again come into operation shortly as Bells Reach development earthworks get under way and steps will be taken to control dust. Stockland expect the whole Bells Reach estate to be completed, sold and constructed over a further 2 year time frame. So the whole Bells Reach Development should be completed and developed by Christmas 2016!
You can expect a Newsletter in your letterbox sometime this week from Stockland full of important information on the Bellvista Blvd roadworks.
We look to catching up with as many residents as possible at the final BeCA Public Meeting, tonight at 6 pm at Bellvista Meeting Place, just beside the lakes in Lomond Cres. Mayor Jamieson will be in attendance. Also in attendance will be Kevin Hegarty Chief Executive, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. Kevin will be providing a presentation on the progress of the construction of the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
David Cooper from Sunshine Coast Council will be bringing us all up to date on the Bellvista Meeting Place and plans and aspirations for its future.
