BeCA has not received any further details on overnight helicopter activity which was reported on Nov 9th. You can read about it here. BeCA contacted Sunshine Coast Airport Management and received a reply indicating BeCA’s concerns would be addressed.
A second request to Sunshine Coast Airport Management was made following extensive helicopter activity at 10:30 pm on November 16th and again BeCA was told by Sunshine Coast Airport Management that this too would be investigated.
Residents are left to wonder whether any investigation which has been carried out has turned up some embarrassing information for Airport Management. The photograph shown to the above left was taken by a resident at 4:50 am one morning.

On a more positive note, the sign below has appeared in the window of the Bellvista Tavern development. Residents will have yet another facility to enjoy in the near future.
BeCA is hopeful the final edition of the Bellvista Connector will be available a little earlier than previously planned. Some of the volunteer deliverers are heading away for the Christmas holidays earlier than expected so we will be endeavouring to get the newsletter out sooner rather than later.
