Stockland has relayed the following information to BeCA to inform residents of road closures to permit the laying of pipes for the sewer upgrade next week. This update will inform you of possible traffic delays while the pipe laying works continue.
“A quick update for residents on the external rising sewer main pipe that is currently under construction within the road reserve between Bells Reach and Bellvista Boulevard.
Next Tuesday 22nd September, a southbound section of Bellvista Boulevard (near Stornaway Avenue Roundabout) will be partially closed whilst the pipe is installed and connected. There will unfortunately be traffic control in place whilst this work is undertaken – which is expected to only take one day to be completed (weather permitting). Hopefully with the school holidays underway it won’t cause too much inconvenience and people can always take a detour via Bellvista to avoid the traffic controls.
Stockland will also have to close Indigo Road access on Monday 28th September for approximately 3 days whilst the sewer pipe in laid and connected.
Stockland will be letterbox dropping Indigo Road residents about the road closure – as they will have to drive through Bells Reach to access Bellvista Boulevard.
Shadforths will install some signs along Bellvista Boulevard to advise of the traffic disruptions tomorrow (Friday) afternoon to allow residents time to adjust their travel routes/plan for next Tuesday and the following week.”
