BeCA will conduct its final Public Meeting for 2019 tonight, 6:45pm Bellvista Meeting Place and all are invited.
A late notice of not being able to attend tonight’s meeting and give a presentation has been received from Sunshine Coast Airport Management. BeCA has developed a strong and friendly partnership with SC Airport Management and their late apology has us wondering. No specific reason was given for their late apology.
BeCA has no idea of what is going on and we wish we did. As Sunshine Coast Council manages the Sunshine Coast Airport and oversees its operation, we may learn more from Cr Rick Baberwoski at tonight’s meeting.
Local Member Mark McArdle is attending tonight’s Public Meeting and with a State Election looming in late 2020 it will be interesting to hear what Mark has to say. Mark has already announced he will not be standing at the upcoming election but he is sure to have a handle on future development plans for this rapidly growing area.
With Airport Management being a ‘late scratching’ from tonight’s meeting to use horse racing parlance, Cr Baberowski’s report may have shed further light on this issue. He will also bring us up to date on Council issues affecting this area.
Senior Constable Peter who provides regular updates on police happenings around the estate, is also a ‘late scratching’ from this meeting!
Time should not bring any pressure to get through things quickly so there should be ample time for Questions and Answers.
With the support from local business, “The Positive Property People”, they have arranged some drinks and nibbles to follow on after the meeting. So you are welcome to stay back and enjoy some Christmas fare and have a chat!
Come along and support your local Community Association at its final Public Meeting for 2019!
