We have two ‘regulars’, Snr Const peter from Caloundra Police who will provide an update on all the policing happenings from around our area. With two local incidents featured on local TV news already this year there should be some interesting follow up available from Snr Constable Peter. We also have Cr Baberowski attending who will update everyone on local Council happenings affecting our area. Both of these presenters will be able to take your questions from the floor.
We have two major presenters. They are Stockland’s Hannah Madill and representatives from The University of the 3rd Age, Terry Kirkland and Margaret Thompson. Hannah has requested a spot at the meeting with some exciting announcements to make on new roads around Baringa. We also understand she has an update on the still to be built Mobile Phone Tower which should vastly improve mobile coverage across the area.
Terry and Margaret will provide all the information we need to know about the University of the 3rd Age which BeCA suspects has plans to extend its offerings to our area.
On Monday March 11th BeCA representatives will be meeting with the Minister for Main Roads Mark Bailey here in Bellvista. Minister Bailey is responsible for state controlled roads across Queensland and BeCA is keen to get a commitment to at least begin planning of the proposed connecting road between Pelican Waters Blvd and Aura Blvd and eventually a connection to Bells Creek Arterial and onto the Bruce Hwy at the Roys Rd interchange. Comments from the floor will be sought on issues to be raised.
Reports will be available from Caloundra West Lions and there will be time for General Business from the floor.
Hot drinks and biscuits will be available after the meeting along with an opportunity for those in attendance to chat face to face with presenters on a variety of personal concerns.
Mrs Madill who lives in Noosa has young family commitments and will be heading off directly following her presentation.
