Bellvista and surrounds have experienced well above average rainfall so far in 2010. The average for Caloundra to the end of March is usually 586mls. So far in 2010 some readings taken on our estate have reached 814mls and we still have some of the month to go. The ground is very wet in many places. A return to warm weather the last few days has made for ideal grass growing conditions.
Residents will have to be patient until the council is able to get on to the sodden ground with their mowing equipment and then catch up on the backlog of mowing to be done. Bellvista has its own team of Council Workers and they work to a schedule.
In a couple of weeks all should be back to normal again and our estate will be looking at its best. We just have to be a little patient!
