The October copy of the “Bellvista Connector” can be downloaded here. The newsletter is being collected from the printer this afternoon and should be delivered to every home on the estate by our volunteer deliverers sometime over the next week or so.
There has been action from the Caloundra Road Action Group late last week over the future loss of direct access to Caloundra Rd from Berkey Place and Old Caloundra Rd. Bellvista residents are aware the current intersection is an accident just waiting to happen with many drivers experiencing near misses when leaving the Caloundra Rd roundabout. The re designing of the roundabout will certainly make travel into and out of the estate a lot safer when the new work is completed.
BeCA has been informed that the “Haul” road which will carry all heavy construction vehicles in and out of the Bells Reach development should be ready for use before the end of October weather permitting. This will take the larger construction vehicles off Bellvista Blvd.
With the onset of warmer weather, residents need to take care with all the creepy crawlies becoming active again. A dead snake was spotted on the road just near Bellvista Market Place late last week. Those dark underneath places may need a spray as well, particularly if you have inquisitive youngsters around your home.
