Some volunteer deliverers have already begun delivering the July Bellvista Connector to homes. Along with the Newsletter is the free A4 sized Bellvista Community Association Business Directory.
It is reported that on Wednesday, one deliverer delivered 93 newsletters and Business Directories to new homes in Bells Reach.
The Business Directory has been printed on card and is A4 in size. The majority of letterboxes can accommodate deliveries of this size. Being printed on card means they really cannot be folded. Deliverers will do their best to ensure you get your Business Directory in the best condition possible.
Businesses advertising on the Business Directory have a direct link with Bellvista or Bells Reach. These people either run their business from our area or live here and have their business near by.
This will be a valuable resource especially for people relatively new to our area as it supplies a list they can use for local services. Being local means they will strive to give the best deal possible. Just mention you saw their advert on the Business Directory!
And don’t forget the BeCA AGM is just over two weeks away. It is to be conducted at the Old Land Sales Office (beside the lake) at 6:45pm on Monday August 5th. Nominations for members of the Management Committee close on Monday July 22nd. At this stage there are not enough nominations to fill the Committee for 2013/14. The Secretary reports she has 7 nominations for the 8 positions.
Call 0498 266 059 to express an interest in standing or for any information. You can download a nomination form HERE.
If the position remains unfilled at the close of nominations 4:00pm Monday July 22nd, nominations will be called for from the floor at the AGM.
The major focus of the AGM is the future of the Old Land Sales Office and the need for a Bellvista/Bells Reach Community Centre. Representatives from Council and Stockland will be in attendance.
