What do you think?
The opinions of Bellvista residents do count. At the recent AGM when officially announcing the new road for heavy construction vehicles for the Bellvista II development, Cr Anna Grosskreutz said that a part of the consideration were concerns raised by Bellvista Residents at the March 2011 BeCA Public Meeting where a presentation was given by Tim Steele of the SCRC Disaster Management Team. Tim was certainly left with the message that an emergency exit/entry was a priority for residents.
So the opinions of Bellvista residents do count.
During Stockland’s presentation at the AGM on Monday, it was proposed that some new shops were to be included in the proposal. Stockland’s Mark Stephens wanted to know what were the preferred shops residents would like to see?
Here is your chance to have a say.
At the foot of this post is a link called “Comments”. Click on this link and tell us what shops you would like to see included in the new development. You will be asked to leave your name and an email address. The email address is not for publication. You do not need to fill in any information about a website, leave that area blank.
One popular suggestion from the AGM was for a Newsagent. If Newsagent has already been mentioned below and left as a “Comment”, you can nominate Newsagent as well. If so many people nominate “Newsagent” then it would become the number one target for the proposed development. You can nominate as many suggestions as you like in the one “Comment”.
Suggestions from the floor at the AGM included Pizza Restaurant, Newsagent, Post Office but at the stage of writing NO Comments have been received. Be aware there are stringent regulations regarding the granting of licences to have a Newsagent or Post Office. However if the demand is high enough, this gives more evidence for the developer to press for a licence to be granted.
Don’t be concerned about multiple nominations, the more the merrier and the more accurate the results will be.
The Comments section has been designed so that each comment is “moderated” so your Comment won’t appear immediately. Just be patient.
Bellvista residents, have your say!
