SC Council is about to replace the tennis court net at Canavan Gracie Reserve. This is great news for all those casual hitters around Bells Reach, Bellvista and other nearby areas. Players come from all over for a free hit of tennis.
Recently a couple from Golden Beach assisted a BeCA Committee member with some hasty repairs to make the previous net usable again.
This notice went up at the courts late last week. So the “next week” is actually this week!
BeCA urges residents to report any inappropriate behaviour around the tennis court area immediately to police. The police contact numbers are on display in the window near the front door of the Meeting Place.
LGM, the SC Mowing contractors are back around the place today. All lawns and Parks should be mowed by the end of today (Monday).
The Gardening Team is in a state of flux right now. However we expect things to get back to normal in a week or so time. Again there has been a reshuffle in personnel so there will be a new face on the gardening team about shortly.
The September Edition of The Connector is in for printing at the moment. Volunteer deliverers can expect to be summoned later this week to collect their allocation for delivery. A copy will be available for download from the website in the next day or so.
People continue to make an illegal right turn from Indigo Rd into Bellvista Blvd. This is especially dangerous when traffic is heavy along there during school pick up and drop off times.
