This the view (photo left) of Bells Reach taken from behind Unity College. The Bells Reach development is quite huge, a fact that many current Bellvista residents do not fully appreciate. As we drive along Bellvista Blvd we only see the area to the south of the new Land Sales Office. This is a view from behind the school.
Bellvista Blvd is currently being extended to link into these later stages of Bells Reach. The photo was taken at the end of the concrete pathway which begins at the intersection of Barrine Cres and Wheeler Cres.
Stockland has the end of 2016 nominated as the time they would like to see all blocks of land in Bells Reach sold.

A little further on in Crater St at the s/w corner of the Bellvista Estate is a small blue metal pathway which leads to this exotic spot, a small clump of forest right on our own back door. Cr Baberowski was delighted with this find and BeCA now suspects this area is earmarked to be retained.
In a perfect world and in a more relaxed economic climate, money would also be found to build a footbridge across the watercourse at the same spot on Crater St to join up with Ghostgum Close in Little Mountain. The land is there as is the need to provide access for pedestrians.
This would provide a perfect place for students living at the southern end of Little Mountain to get to and from Unity College as well as an easy walk for Little Mountain residents to access Bellvista Market Place.
An older resident was out walking his small Maltese Terrier this morning when he met up with another walker with two larger dogs. The two larger dogs took an immediate interest in the smaller dog causing it to run. The older resident was unable to hang on to the lead and his small dog escaped to safety.
Unfortunately he was unable to find it. The dog has a name tag with registration details, a contact phone number as well as its lead still attached.
Hopefully the dog has been found by now and the phone number has been called and all is well again with the small dog returned to its owner.
