A quick reminder to everyone regarding the final BeCA “Public Meeting” in what we have been calling the ‘old Land Sales Office’. It is on Monday June 2nd at 6:45 pm.
In mid June we should see the beginning of the refurbishment which hopefully be completed by September. The refurbished facility will go by the title of “The Community Meeting Place”.
We have speakers from Sunshine Coast Coast Council’s Waste Resources Management Team. If last year’s presentation is anything to go by this will be a top entertaining and informative session. Then local developer Stockland will bring us up to date on all the news regarding planned Bellvista Blvd works and improvements as well as the next stage of Bells Reach and an update on the Caloundra South Development.
The refurbishment of Bellvista Blvd referred to in the post below is a Sunshine Coast Regional Council project and has nothing to do with what Stockland has planned.
Both of Stockland’s projects are entering interesting stages and we can expect some major improvements to accessing and exiting our estate in the not too distant future.
Regretfully Cr Baberowski is a late apology for the meeting as he is attending a briefing being given local Members of Parliament.
And just to finalize the evening we have a small wine and cheese tasting event on as well. We have several wines for you to try and a cheese block with a savoury biscuit to help it all go down. Tea and coffee will be available as well for anyone wishing to stay back for a chat afterwards.
BeCA sincerely thanks both the Bellvista Tavern and the IGA supermarket for their strong support with this evening.
