BeCA has received several emails regarding the need for the SCRC to get stuck into mowing the parks and gardens on the estate. From communication BeCA has had with the SCRC, Bellvista is not going to be forgotten in this issue. There is a parks and gardens roster for SCRC workers with our estate allocated several days each week for work, weather and conditions permitting.
Many residents have only just recently been able to mow their own lawns following the recent heavy rain. Bellvista is not alone in seeking parks to be mown. The photo here (left) was taken at the neighbouring Little Mountain Common this morning. As you can see the situation there is worse than areas here on our estate. Click on each photo for a larger view. Some mowing has begun with this area (see below) near Cougal Circuit on our estate recently cut.
BeCA has made Service Requests to SCRC to have the rail repaired (see photo left) as well as some graffiti on the BBQ pergola in the main park be remove. Also that there be action on faded line marking outside Bellvista Market Place. These issues have been responded to by SCRC with them being passed on to the relevant department for attention.
BeCA has also contacted the Pratt Property Group to have the baffle refixed on one of the carpark lights at Bellvista Market Place (below left) and has drawn their attention to the carpark light which appears to have been hit by a truck and has a lean. See the photo below right. Click on all photos for a larger view.
The photo below right also shows the faded and confusing line markings at the entry to Bellvista Market Place.
