This week your Community Association is involved with several meetings on a variety of issues.
Yesterday 2 representatives met onsite with Mark McArdle to discuss issues relating to Bellvista Blvd. You can read about this meeting in a post below (Click HERE).
Then again on Tuesday morning the same two representatives were present at a meeting with Mark McArdle and a journalist from The Caloundra Journal to raise residents’ views on issues dealing with Bellvista Blvd, namely the inappropriate schoolbus drop off point at Bellcarra Place, the condition of Bellvista Blvd, concerns over possible increased traffic during Bellvista2 construction, dangerous crossing points being used by some students and Bellvista Blvd being the only entry/exit point for the estate. Mark McArdle is suggesting the best way to attend to all of these issues is by the duplication of Bellvista Blvd and the installation of an overhead walkway across a duplicated Bellvista Blvd.
On Tuesday afternoon several representatives will meet with a representative from Stockland to discuss involving the community in elements of the planning of Bellvista2. You can read about that meeting HERE.
On Thursday there is a Urban Land Development Authority public meeting at USC (Sippy Downs) to provide further information on the Caloundra South Project.
