Peter came onto the Management Committee this year despite his illness. Peter was especially passionate about issues relating to Caloundra Aerodrome and the repetitive circuits by helicopters.
He was just beginning to find his way with BeCA and his contributions will be missed.
BeCA’s deepest condolences go to his wife Sue and family.
Peter’s Pen Pic from the BeCA website appears below:
I retired in 2013 having spent 48 years in the IT industry, mainly working on main frame machines. I moved to Australia from England in 1978. After remarrying in 2011 we moved from the Hills District of Sydney in October 2013 and settled in a house we bought in Bells Reach. We now how 4 beautiful grandchildren who I adore. I no longer can participate in many physical activities because of an illness. When I was younger I regularly played football (round ball) in winter and cricket in summer. I am a strong supporter of the underdog and am prepared to take up the challenge for a worthy cause.
