Our Southern Route Mobile Librarian who visits the estate with the library bus every Tuesday, Des Radcliffe, was just awarded Mobile Librarian of the Year (for the whole of Australia)!
Des is always friendly and patient, is very knowledgeable regarding library items and will always help you when he can (re locating and reserving books etc) and is a great ambassador for the Sunshine Coast Library.
The ULDA has released a document “Caloundra South Urban Development Area Development Scheme”. It is a 2.21MB .pdf document and is 56 pages long. It contains overviews of all the developments which will make up the Caloundra South development. You can download the document HERE.
Huge decisions yet to be set in stone on developments such as major roads will become easier to implement when the whole Caloundra South project has Federal Government approval. This approval is due before the end of 2012.
A reminder too that BeCA’s final “Public Meeting” for 2011 will be conducted TONIGHT in the former Land Sales Office at the main park beside the lakes. It looks like being a bumper meeting with Cr Grosskreutz in attendance.
BeCA has invited Division 1 candidates for the March 2012 Council Elections to make a presentation at this meeting. So far BeCA has had four acceptances to attend.
Finally Stockland will provide an update on the Bells Reach development and will be available answer questions from Bellvista residents.
The Public Meeting is due to get underway at 6:45 pm.
