The water level in the Bellvista Lakes has been slowly falling over the last couple of months but residents should begin to note an increase in the water level increase sooner rather than later. The lakes water supply is pumped from a bore. At around 16 years of age, the pump has decided to give authorities some grief and has broken down. It appears the best course now is a new pump rather than repair the old one. A new replacement pump has been ordered and should be fitted by Council soon.

A noisy aircraft has been giving some Bellvista residents a bad time over the weekend for its repetitive take offs and landings. Residents have been contacting BeCA on the issue and BeCA has told them to visit https://www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/Experience-Sunshine-Coast/Airports/Caloundra-Aerodrome/Managing-Aircraft-Noise and lodge an official complaint. The aircraft seems to come in quite low to land causing the problem to be worse than it might have been had a reasonable and higher flight approach been made.
