Recently BeCA was contacted by an angry resident demanding that the BeCA Newsletter not be left in his “No Junk Mail” signed letterbox. The resident travels extensively and a full letter box could indicate he is away, his home is empty and become a target for theft.
We do not see “The Connector” falling into the Junk Mail category, but see it more as a ‘local newspaper’.
Since its inception, and the delivery of around 30,000 newsletters since 2008, this is the first such complaint BeCA has received. Needless to say we will attempt not to deliver to this address. We use volunteer deliverers and over a year, 3 or 4 different volunteers may service an area. Regretfully there will be an unintentional communication breakdown from time to time. But we will do our best to answer any request
If you too do not want the newsletter delivered, let us know through a courteous request via our “Contact” page and we will do our best to stop delivery.
The resident in question was more concerned about the other numerous junk mail deliveries he receives via his “No Junk Mail” signed letterbox.
He had been advised by authorities to personally contact the delivery company and have his address removed from their junk mail delivery rounds.
BeCA believes there are two major delivery companies which deliver junk mail to the Bellvista/Bells Creek area. Contact them if you do not want any junk mail delivery to your “No Junk Mail” signed home.
(1) PMP Limited 07 5479-4433 Contact is Nathan.
(2) Salmat Distribution Centre, 338 Bradman St, Acacia Ridge QLD 4110, Phone 07 3723 4000.
If you know of any other junk mail delivery company, please let BeCA know and we will add their contact details for resident information.
