BeCA has a Committee Meeting this evening. The 8 committee members meet to discuss issues and follow up actions. BeCA has been informed our new Councillor Rick Babarowski is hopeful of attending tonight’s meeting depending on Sub-Committee commitments at Council.
Recently a resident captured a photo of several youths loitering on scooters around Bellvista Market Place (BMP). One of the youths in the photo has been recognised as a repeat offender having previously been warned by police. The resident forwarded the photo to Pratt Property, owners of BMP as well as the major stake holder at the Centre. The resident also advised who they could call to identify the loiterers. At this stage there hasn’t been any update on resultant action.

BeCA has requested Council quickly repair the missing sections of the safety fence at the Observation Platform overlooking the lower lake adjacent to the playground area.
BeCA has requested Stockland effect repairs to the old “Land Sales Office” for damage to the rear wall.
The Bellvista Connector may well be a week or so later than expected this issue. The member who prepares the newsletter is away but due back shortly from a well deserved break. You will find a nomination form in the upcoming Newsletter for the Bellvista Community Association Management Committee. The AGM is still a month or two off (early August) so there is plenty of time for residents to consider being involved with BeCA as a Committee Member.
Bellvista Community Association (BeCA) urges residents to report any inappropriate behaviour or vandal damage around the Estate to Caloundra Police PH: 54394444 or Police Link PH: 131444.
