The BeCA Facebook page has over 200 “Likers” which is just great for a small area such as ours. Current hot topics on the Facebook page include some cars being broken into in one area of the estate and the other issue with comments is late night flights last night by helicopters. Apparently several residents have commented on helicopter activity overhead last night (Tues) between 10:30pm and 11pm. BeCA has passed these comments and a link to our Facebook page onto Sunshine Coast Airport Management.
Go to our Airport Noise Complaints web page HERE for further information. You will find a phone number there for the Sunshine Coast Airport (who manage Caloundra Aerodrome) to voice your complaint or there is a link to the Air Services Australia website where you can email in a complaint.
The other activity is going on over at Bells Reach where the pre fab buildings are being lowered into position.
As the photo left shows, there is an area at the rear of the Cafe which opens onto the Adventure Playground at Blue Park.
This would make an ideal spot for residents to have a quick chat over coffee while their children enjoy the Adventure Playground in the parent’s full view.
The new Cafe will be managed by the same people who run the Bellvista Tavern.

The two photos below show a section of the new Land Sales Office being manoeuvred into position.
It was pleasing to watch a “Tipper with Dog” (similar to a B-Double truck) leaving the Bells Reach Development by turning east along Bells Reach Drive and leaving the work area via the Haul Rd.
