This agreement does not include builder’s vehicles or large trucks delivering house building supplies.
‘Tipper and Dog’ trucks delivering stones, rocks etc for road building and other infra structure projects have been told to use the Haul Rd. The Haul Rd is a temporary road built by Stockland to ensure heavy vehicles did not use Bellvista Blvd. The Haul Rd exits into the Caloundra Industrial Estate.
In response to several pieces of information from residents, BeCA consulted with Stockland to have these heavy vehicles removed as they could be a danger to other motorists and cause damage to an already fragile Bellvista Blvd.
It is feared that despite the new direction to Shadforth’s from Stockland, some drivers may still try to use Bellvista Blvd. An employee has been put on duty to refuse entry to trucks which wish to enter the Bells Reach development from Bellvista Blvd.
On behalf of all residents of both Bells Reach and Bellvista, BeCA thanks Stockland for its commitment in keeping our community a safe place to live.
Since this photo was a taken an employee has been placed to deny entry to trucks which do not use the “Haul Rd”.
The photo left shows a fragile piece of Bellvista Blvd, about 50 metres north of the roundabout with Dumbarton Drive.
