There have been some changes to the way we produce the Newsletter “The Connector” for 2017. Previously the newsletter was printed for us at no charge by local MP, Mark McArdle’s office. This has been a mammoth saving for BeCA and a situation which could not go on forever. BeCA now has been requested to supply its own 5 reams of A3 paper per issue while the printing costs are still provided by Mark’s office.
For this edition of the newsletter BeCA was requested to bring forward the printing date as the photo copier we use was to receive a major service on the day we had previously set aside for the printing. Therefore this edition was printed the day before the major service and regretfully several of the photos we had included have not been reproduced well at all.
But all 2,400 copies have now been printed and are being made available to our volunteer deliverers for distribution across Bellvista, Bells Reach and Arbour.
A second hurdle BeCA has had to cross recently was the late cancellation of our major speaker local Federal MP Andrew Wallace for BeCA’s upcoming Public Meeting, 6:45pm, Monday March 6th at Bellvista Meeting Place . BeCA has had to hurriedly find a suitable replacement and Stockland has stepped up to provide a presentation. With all the recent happenings around Baringa and the opening of the new Bells Creek Arterial it is an exciting time for Stockland. This presentation should keep the interest bubbling along with new and exciting developments happening on a regular basis.
Hopefully we can find a mutually acceptable alternate time slot for Andrew to attend a later public meeting in 2017.
So keep your eye out for “The Connector” in your letterbox.
