The first BeCA Public Meeting for 2012 is to be conducted on Monday March 5th at the Land Sales Office on Lomond Cres at 6:45pm.
It looks like being a bumper meeting with something of interest for everyone.
It was to be Anna Grosskreutz’s last meeting with us as our Councillor but unfortunately she is an apology owing to a close family member bereavement.
Mick Graham is our Guest Speaker and is speaking on “The Future Of Caloundra Airport – Some Crystal Ball Gazing”. Mick has much previous experience with government departments and was involved in high level decision making with Melbourne’s major airports.
We will meet the new owners of the ‘Bellvista Tavern’ as well as ‘Pizzas and More’. We hope to have several of the candidates for the upcoming Division 1 Council Elections in attendance as well.
There will be an opportunity to discuss resident views on the proposed Super Stage of the International Rally Of Queensland proposed for Saturday May 26th to be held on the Caloundra Airport site.
BeCA will report on its actions over the last month or so. And we will have a General Business section open to issues raised from the floor.
We look to seeing as many residents as possible in attendance.
