The major focus for the meeting will revolve around parks and gardens issues, especially an issue relating to rain gardens or biopods. Stockland will have representatives to speak on the science behind biopods and the crucial role they play in ensuring storm water entering the local eco system and eventually the pristine Pumicestone Passage is in as clean a condition as possible.
There are other parks and gardens issues affecting Bells Reach as well including the state of some roadside gardens.
So if you wish to show your verbal support that Council lift its game on monitoring parks and gardens issues across Bellvista, Bells Reach and Arbour, ensure your voice is heard at Monday’s meeting. Come along and voice your concerns.
Councillor Baberowski will provide an update on all issues related to Council and Senior Constable Peter will provide an update on policing issues from around our area.
There will be a little BeCA shopkeeping to do as well seeing this is also our “Annual General Meeting” with an Annual Financial Report and a quick overview of BeCA’s happenings across 2018 to be presented. BeCA is also able to take nominations from the floor for the two remaining vacancies on the BeCA 2019 Management Committee.
The evening will wind up with a convivial sip, a quick snack and a hot drink. Drinks and eats are being generously provided by “The Positive Property People” situated at Bellvista Market Place and we thank them once again for their generosity.
Come along, be informed and enjoy a quiet social function at the meeting’s conclusion. All are welcome, tomorrow, 6:45pm, Bellvista Meeting Place, November 5th.
