BeCA will be meeting with local Helicopter Training School Chopperline in the near future to bring each other up to date on recent happenings. Most of the helicopter activity overhead at the moment is from Chopperline which is located at Caloundra Aerodrome.
And an early reminder of the upcoming BeCA Public Meeting set down for 6:45pm in the old Land Sales Office (just near the tennis court) on Monday March 3rd.
Speakers will be Peter Pallot, Sunshine Coast Airport General Manager, Jason Rainbird, Sunshine Coast Airport Management Team Member, and our local Councillor Rick Baberowski. All will be available to bring residents up to date with any recent developments in attaining the Satellite Helicopter Training Facility. It will provide an opportunity for residents who were unable to attend the recent Helicopter Noise Forum to have a say.
The usual reports from various members of the BeCA Management Committee will be available as well. The meeting should conclude with any General Business arising from the floor of the meeting.
We look forward to as many residents as possible from Bells Reach and Bellvista attending this Public Meeting.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available after the meeting for those wishing to stay back for a chat.
