At the recent BeCA Public Meeting a resident raised the issue of the poor positioning of a bus seat at the bus stop near the Turquoise Place/Bellvista Blvd roundabout in Arbour. When you are sitting on the seat you cannot see an approaching bus and therefore the bus driver would not see you waiting on the seat.
The seat was recently installed at BeCA’s request by Stockland so it seemed Stockland would be able to rectify the situation. As the problem is caused by close overgrown shrubbery, the line of sight issue then becomes the responsibility of Council.
As BeCA was following up the problem on behalf of the Community and our Councillor, BeCA then sought a solution via our Councillor.
Cr Baberowski has now raised the issue with Council. We now await Council’s response to overcoming the line of sight issue.
BeCA expects Council will inspect the bus seat and the line of sight problem and affect the appropriate follow up work.
For any issue relating to Council, BeCA suggests all landowners set up a MyCouncil account (Click Here). A quick photo with your phone, transfer it to your PC and then lodge a Service Request to have Council attend to your issue. It is so easy!
