There is plenty of activity around Canavan Gracie Recreational Park this morning. It is hoped all will be completed in time for the ‘official’ opening of the park on Saturday March 23rd at 11:30 am near the park sign/letter box/bus stop on Lomond Cres at 11:30 am.
It has been proposed that Cr Rick Baberowski will be having a ‘Free Tree Day” on the same date again at Canavan Gracie Recreational Park prior to the park’s “opening”. This is still to be confirmed.
All residents from Bellvista and Bells Reach are invited to attend.
The equipment to clear the lillies and red azolla from both lakes has arrived and was commencing work. see the photo above.

LGM Lawn mowing sub-contractors have arrived on the estate in force and we can expect all park areas to be mown over the next 36 hours.
Three damaged sails are being removed and repaired, hopefully they will be back by Saturday week. Two of the sails require attention for normal wear and tear. (photo below left).
Have you noticed the new visitor to the lake area? A 3rd black swan has been spotted. It is keeping its distance though from the two regular black swans which have called the lakes home here at Bellvista for quite a long time. (Photo below right).
Tomorrow, two BeCA representatives will be attending the third Forum Meeting to formalize a Vision Statement for Caloundra. The forum has been organised by local M.P. Mark McArdle.
