Several members of the BeCA Committee were photographed outside the Bellvista Market Place Chemist shop this morning for an article which is due to printed in the Caloundra Journal’s January 28th edition. The article will do a background story on the recent robbery at the Chemist Shop and how local residents were available to provide assistance where ever possible.
The article is due to mention the strong Bellvista Community spirit which ensures residents here look after each other and keep an eye out for inappropriate behaviour.
There are numerous morning walkers, joggers and bike riders around the estate each day who report incidents to the relevant authorities or onto BeCA for follow up. There are many people who complete their exercise later in the day as well and are available to report on anything.
People mention things like any suspicious behaviour, neighbours inappropriately throwing rubbish and grass clippings over their back fences onto vacant land, graffiti on pathways and walls, safety issues at roundabouts, speeding, illegal parking, vandal damage and numerous other issues.
We look forward to reading the article in next week’s edition of the Caloundra Journal.
