BeCA is seeking Expressions of Interest from Bellvista businesses for a possible Bellvista Business Directory. BeCA is not in a financial position to fund an A4 Flyer Fridge Magnet listing a variety of local businesses but we are attempting to see if one is viable.
How often have you needed a concrete guy, a sparky a plumber or any other ‘tradie’ to do a job or two around the house? As a new estate and possibly as a new arrival to the Sunshine Coast you go on the word of others or you just try your luck and ‘pluck’ a name from the local weekly newspaper?
Wouldn’t you prefer to use a local, one who lives in the same area as you and will do you a fair job at a fair price?
We have added a new page to the website (under the News & Events tab) with a form seeking expressions of interest from Bellvista residents regarding their local business. Click HERE to visit the page.
If we can find enough people interested and we can cover all costs we will give the idea a try!
BeCA has received a second concern from a resident regarding the riding of Trail Bikes in the area to the north of the estate. Correspondence has been forwarded to the Caloundra Police “Officer In Charge” seeking this matter be attended to. This ‘process’ was one agreed to when Senior Constable Peter Dickens spoke at our Public Meeting recently. Peter Dickens gave a commitment concerns raised by BeCA would be acted upon.
It would be even better however if we had descriptions of the offenders or the bikes or if possible any bike registration details if available.
