BeCA has been informed that the owners of Bellvista Tavern have experienced delays with obtaining final liquor and gaming approvals and now expect approval during the latter part of next week.
This will enable them to open the Tavern to the public during the week commencing Monday 27th.
It seems (just like with getting into and out of the estate) residents will need to be patient!
A low flying aircraft was reported to BeCA by two residents on Friday. One resident was after information on how to lodge a complaint and to whom.
Residents may use the link on “Handy Links” and lodge a complaint directly to the airport on (07) 5453 1501.
Or you may choose to contact Air Services Australia on 1800 802 584 and they will log the complaint. Air Services also advised us that action will only be taken if there are a number of complaints. Therefore BeCA urges residents to make contact with Air Services Australia as well as directly with the airport. Some residents have reported mixed responses when contacting the Caloundra Airport.
However BeCA urges residents to raise any concern re aircraft behaviour. The better the description of the offending aircraft, size, number wings, color, any registration numbers, exact time of the incident etc then makes following through on the complaint more successful.
