This morning BeCA representatives met with the SCRC Parks and Gardens Supervisor for this area to discuss areas of concern.
BeCA representatives presented a detailed account of pathways across the estate which are in urgent need of pruning. There are many examples of shrubs and trees overhanging or growing onto our numerous pathways around the estate.
BeCA has been told to expect as many workers as available to be onsite next week to carry out the work, with the pathways along Bellvista Blvd between Dumbarton Drive and Stornaway Avenue to be addressed first.
BeCA supplied a series of photographs of areas of concern across the estate, all which require attention. Walkers and bike riders should notice a marked improvement.
We can also expect the mowing contractor to be back onsite again next week mowing our parks.
