The fence has come down on a section of the Bells Reach development fronting onto Bellvista Blvd. The fence is to be resited to allow public access to a carpark and a new Bells Reach Information & Sales Office. The office’s foundation slab is due to be poured today.

The new “Haul Road” which will take heavy trucks off Bellvista Blvd is having the final concrete pour on the temporary bridge over Lamerough Creek today. It should be open for use by all heavy construction vehicles either Wednesday or Thursday. Residents will welcome its opening as it will remove Bells Reach’s heavy construction vehicles from Bellvista Blvd.
Recent showery weather has made Bellvista Blvd muddy the last day or so. BeCA is pleased to note Stockland endeavour to ‘clean’ the road regularly.
BeCA has received some concerns from residents over the noise coming from the repetitive circuits of helicopters over the estate last Friday. For residents near or under the flight path it wasn’t a good day. BeCA has forwarded concerns onto a Caloundra Airport Helicopter School (Chopperline) who will investigate the concerns. It has not been confirmed that the offending helicopters were from Chopperline.
BeCA suspects that as most of the action was near or under a flight path to the east west runway that the behaviour may not be outside the “Fly Neighbourly Policy”. You can access a ‘draft’ copy of the Fly Neighbourly Policy HERE.
A reminder too that BeCA’s final “Public Meeting” for 2011 will be conducted on Monday November 7th in the former Land Sales Office at the main park beside the lakes. It looks like being a bumper meeting with Cr Grosskreutz in attendance.
BeCA has invited Division 1 candidates for the March 2012 Council Elections to make a presentation at this meeting. So far BeCA has had four acceptances to attend.
Finally Stockland will provide an update on the Bells Reach development and will be available answer questions from Bellvista residents.
The Public Meeting is due to get underway at 6:45 pm.
