This garden has been created by the community, for the community. It’s a place where Bells Reach and Bellvista residents of all ages can come together to socialise and make new friends as they share skills, learn and work side-by-side to grow fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables.
The Bells Reach Community Garden offers a combination of private plots and communal plots. Private plots are hired and cared for by individuals so we ask that you refrain from picking their personal harvests. The communal plots are maintained by all the Bells Reach Community Garden members. If you would like to harvest from the communal plots, we ask that you make a small contribution in our donation box. All donations are invested in the on-going development and improvement of the garden for the community.
If you would like to get involved, we hold working bees on Sunday afternoons at 2pm. We also hold a committee meeting on the 3rd Monday of every month in the Bells Reach sales office boardroom. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP to these meetings.
