The meeting was attended by local groups representing community associations, environmental groups and other groups concerned on the effect a new development such as this could have on the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.
The BeCA representatives spoke on the lifestyle and the environment residents enjoyed living in an estate which would have many similarities to the proposed development.
Some of the groups in attendance have been carrying on a long standing fight with both the Council and the State Government over the Caloundra South development.
There was no overall agreement over one single issue with the various groups having different issues to fight.
It is expected Community Consultation on the Government’s Caloundra South Project will commence on March 31st.
