BeCA President Paul Harrison was interviewed today by the local TV station Channel 7. Paul appeared on the Local News and provided a resident’s perspective of access to Bellvista in light of the future Bellvista2 development.
This coverage could bring great support for something to be done about Bellvista Blvd prior to trucks and other heavy construction vehicles using the road when the development of Bellvista2 begins.
It was pleasing that BeCA was contacted by Channel 7 for views on this sensitive issue for all Bellvista residents. What appeared on TV was a very small grab of what Paul actually said during the ‘on camera’ interview.
BeCA looks forward to being involved in all further discussions on effects Bellvista2 development will have on our estate and our residents.
BeCA has a meeting with local MP Mark McArdle scheduled for Tuesday afternoon of next week to discuss the “bus stop” at Bellcarra Place .

There was a similar item on the local Channel 9 News but BeCA was not invited to be included in that coverage. Instead another “residents” association spoke about the issue about which they most likely had absolutely no first hand knowledge at all.
