Eureka Landscapes workers have been sub-contracted by SCRC to carry out the 12 month clean out of the 14 or so biopods around the estate. This clean out occurs approximately 12 months after their installation. The work is going on in the newer areas of the state.

Mowing continues around the estate. The photo left was taken this morning and shows the newly cut grass in the foreground with long grass still to be cut in the background. There are still several areas around the estate to be cut. Areas cut a week ago look like they need doing again already! Remember to click on all photos for a larger view.
It was great to see three black swans again this morning on the top lake (photo below left). At a guess one would say it is the two parents with their youngster visiting again. Great to see the family again here on the estate.
These “Crocodile Cracks” (photo below right) are in the road surface just as you turn into Dumbarton Avenue from Bellvista Blvd. This is where small cracks have appeared in the road surface most likely from recent heavy rain. The cracks allow water to seep into the earth below and eventually wash some of the earth away. The road surface then collapses leaving potholes.
These kind of cracks can be seen in roads around our estate and raises concerns with Bellvista2 construction not too far away and increased heavy vehicle traffic.
